This wine comes from 97% Tempranillo and 3% Graciano grapes.
It has been aged in American and French oak (60% and 40% respectively) for 30 months.
No added sugar.
It contains only one preservative: sulphur dioxide (E 220).
Hacienda Calavia Reserva 2013 presents perfectly as a cherry garnet colour.
On the nose we detect aromas of balsamic, spices and coca followed by minerals, and subtle woody notes acquired by the wine during the maturation process in the oak casks. Underlying, is a constant reminder of strawberry and blackberry, producing a well structured, elegant, round, and intense sensation in the mouth.
